For those who are unaware:
1. I am staying with my aunt and uncle in Manosque until the 23rd when I head to Barcelona. We have our first program meeting the evening of the 24th at our apartments in the city.
2. Manosque is a relatively small hill town in Southern France, a little over an hour northeast of Marseilles that was revived to its current state in the mid 10th century. Wikipedia tells me its population is just over 22,000, but it feels much smaller than that. It has a dense city core but outside of that, it quickly turns into sprawling suburbia (not the same as in the states though) with lots of farmlands. For those how haven’t discovered it’s secret yet, it’s a pretty spectacular place.
